A Chinese ‘egg and spinach’ (sancai) glaze bowl dating from the Kangxi period. A bowl of gently-flaring form, enamelled on the biscuit with splashes of sancai palette enamels (yellow, green and aubergine) with areas of the white body of the bowl left as a contrast, with the whole then being covered with a clear glaze. The foot has an underglaze blue shop mark within a double underglaze blue circles. diameter : 21,5cm
